Hi there! I totally can't believe it, but it's our last day of school today. Where does the time go? End of the Year Gifts for Students The end of the year is already chaotic enough, so I wanted to share two student gift ideas that are actually EASY, affordable, and student-approved. π I don't always do student gifts at the end of the year, but I decided to pair them with my End of the Year Awards this year, and I'm so glad I did. This year, I did two different gifts for different classes.
π« Tiny S'Mores Gifts: My students are obsessed with anything tiny, and they LOVE keychains! I made them tiny sβmores gift bags with mini keychains and the cutest free tagsβ¦ and my students were OBSESSED. The keychains came with little bags, and I put in a few Golden Grahams, chocolate chunks, and marshmallows... voila! Students could make their own little mini s'mores. SO cute. π Summer Pen Gift: I also found adorable multi-color pens that basically came ready to gift (which felt like a miracle in May π ). These come with cards that match the pens, the baggies, and the pens! SO easy to put together. Both took almost no prep, looked super cute, and made students feel really special. You can see both ideas (plus grab the free editable tags) right here: β‘οΈπEasy End-of-the-Year Student GiftsβSome thoughts on this year... I really feel like there was a distinct shift this year in the climate of education. Prior to this year, we seemed to be reaching a fever pitch for educators. People were leaving the profession in droves. This year, though, things seem to calm a bit. I see more positivity for the profession. I am seeing fewer resignation posts on social media. I am hopeful this is signaling a shift for the positive. Education will never be a perfect field, and as long as we are working with young children (and so many adults) there will always be parts that are challenging. But it's also a genuinely rewarding career that needs talented people. I hope we can continue this upward trend! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the state of education from your perspective. Happy almost-summer! |
